Founder of Nurtured Soul Co.

I’m Katie: somatic guide, yoga teacher, recovering over-planner, and a woman who rebuilt her life from the inside out.

For most of my life, I lived in my head. I played it safe. I planned for every outcome. I built a life that looked “successful” on paper, but quietly dimmed my light. When I walked away from a marriage that no longer fit, and later found myself cracked wide open in a soul-shaking relationship, everything changed. I began the slow, sacred work of coming home to myself.

For the past few years, I’ve been in deep restoration. I stopped forcing. I rested. I learned to listen —- not to the noise outside, but to the whispers within. I traded CrossFit for somatic movement. Hustle for healing. Doing for being.

Now, I’m in a new chapter. Not fully healed (who ever is?), but fully alive. Reignited. Reconnected to my true spark. And with that, Nurtured Soul Co. was born.

This isn’t just a brand. It’s a homecoming.

It’s a place for women who’ve done everything “right” but still feel disconnected.

How My Journey Shapes My Work

From Over-Planning to Embodied Wisdom

My background as an engineer taught me the power of systems, structure, and logic. But my personal healing journey has shown me that no amount of planning can take the place of embodied, intuitive wisdom. That’s why I blend the grounded tools of nervous system science with somatic practices and intuitive healing. I know firsthand how vital it is to feel safe, to feel your body, and to reconnect with that quiet, internal knowing that’s always been there.

This work isn’t just about teaching concepts or giving you a roadmap. It’s about guiding you back to your inner wisdom, meeting you exactly where you are, and empowering you to live in a way that’s in alignment with your true spark. It’s not about perfection or a one-size-fits-all solution.

It’s about trusting the process, doing the deep work, and remembering who you are, without the noise of the world telling you otherwise.

My journey has been the ultimate teacher in how I show up for others. After years of living in my head, planning for every possible outcome, and pushing through life’s challenges, I learned the hard way that healing can’t be forced. When I left a marriage that kept me small and found myself cracking wide open in a soul-shifting relationship, I began to understand the deep need for space, softness, and a return to the body.
