I Know What It’s Like to Live in Overdrive
For years, I pushed through exhaustion—striving, achieving, and holding everything together—while my body and soul longed for rest. I know what it’s like to live in survival mode, disconnected from my own needs, constantly moving forward without pausing to listen. I lived in my head, trying to stay ahead of life, but eventually, my body and spirit forced me to slow down. Through my own journey of healing, nervous system regulation, and deep self-reconnection, I discovered a different way of being—one rooted in softness, slowness, and embodied presence.
That journey led me to create Nurtured Soul Co., a sanctuary for women seeking healing, restoration, and a return to themselves. My work isn’t about fixing or forcing change—it’s about holding space for deep listening, emotional processing, and self-trust. Healing happens when we create safety in the body, reconnect with our inner wisdom, and allow ourselves to move through life with more ease and intention.
Healing Through Nervous System Awareness & Somatic Practices
In a world that constantly rewards doing, achieving, and self-sacrifice, I learned that true healing doesn’t come from pushing harder—it comes from slowing down and listening to your body. Healing is about creating safety in the nervous system, honoring the wisdom held in every cell, and reclaiming the stillness within.
In my work, I guide women to:
🌿 Regulate their nervous systems + process stored emotions with care
🌿 Reconnect with stillness + reclaim their sense of inner safety
🌿 Come back to their authentic selves + their innate wisdom
My Approach: Somatic Healing + Trauma-Informed Care
I’m Katie Griffin, a trauma-informed yoga teacher and somatic practitioner dedicated to helping women regulate their nervous systems, release stored stress, and return home to themselves.
My approach blends:
✅ Somatic healing for nervous system regulation + processing emotions
✅ Trauma-informed yoga + embodiment practices for self-reconnection
✅ Restorative movement + breathwork to support deep healing
My teaching style is slower-paced, deeply restorative, and nervous-system aware, shaped by:
🌀 200-hour Yoga Certification
🌀 15-hour Yin Yoga Training
🌀 20-hour Trauma-Informed Yoga Certification
🌀 Integrative Somatic Practitioner Training (IWA) (in progress)
Healing isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about returning to who you were before the world told you who to be.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating safe, compassionate space where you can explore your emotions, reconnect with your body, and step into a more authentic, easeful way of being. I offer somatic practices, trauma-informed yoga, and nervous system regulation to support you in healing and moving forward with clarity.
