Summer Yoga + Acupuncture Workshop
Summer, the yang season, is ruled by the Fire element and is expressed in nature as well as in your body. Growth, joy and spiritual awareness between the heart and mind are the focus during this season. Summer-heat belongs to the element of fire and is predominant during the summer season.
Join Katie and Tiffany for an afternoon of yoga and acupuncture that stokes your internal fire!
You will be guided through a dynamic, warming vinyasa flow with active backbends and core-focused asanas for the first half of class. The second half of class will include a gentle acupuncture treatment during a serene and restful savasana.

Yoga poses and acupuncture points will be carefully selected to balance your fire element, while stimulating and nourishing your heart and small intestine organs. You will leave feeling invigorated and balanced after this class.

Winter Yoga + Acupuncture Workshop
It’s time to wind down into winter.
Join Katie and Tiffany for our seasonal Yoga + Acupuncture workshop.
Winter, the yin season, is a time for storing and conserving energy. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Winter is associated with the Kidneys and Bladder organs and the Water element. Expect a restorative yin yoga sequence for the first half of class. We'll end the workshop with a gentle acupuncture treatment and a serene and restful savasana.
Yin yoga poses and acupuncture points will be carefully selected to balance the Water element, while stimulating and nourishing your kidneys and bladder.
You will leave this class feeling nourished and relaxed!

Spring 2022 Yoga + Acupuncture Retreat

Meet Tiffany of Breathe Easy Wellness!
Tiffany is a Nationally Board Certified and Licensed Acupuncturist in Maryland and South Carolina as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She received her Masters of Acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She has completed both her 200- 500-hour programs through YogaFit, focusing on yoga therapy.

Yin Yoga + Acupressure Release

Join Katie for a relaxing evening of yin yoga and acupressure release!
The class will integrate slow and passive yin holds with tennis balls to support your body in recovery, muscle-soreness, and relaxation. We will use tennis balls to apply acupressure and create a deep tissue release in specific areas of the body. You will then be guided into a long Savasana and finish class with meditation.
Tennis balls and other props are provided.
You can expect to leave class feeling relaxed and ready to take on the rest of your week!

Fall Yoga + Acupuncture Workshop
Fall is the season of slowing down and introspection as we draw inwards both physically and emotionally. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this season is represented by the metal element. This time of year is nature's expression of grief. This letting go prepares us for more to come.
Join Katie Horner and Tiffany Schaal, for a 90 minute class with focus on the lungs and large intestine. This workshop will blend the practices of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga with TCM influence.
Expect a vinyasa sequence, followed by a restorative transition through yin poses. We'll end the workshop with a gentle acupuncture treatment and a serene and restful savasana.
You will leave feeling nourished and relaxed after this class.

The season of Fall asks us to slow down and draw our attention inward. When we draw our attention inward we begin to pay attention to the things in our lives that cause tension and drain energy. These are things that ultimately deplete us and may need to fall away. This is the process of letting go and releasing.
This letting go will prepare you for more. To create space so that you can expand more fully into the person you are meant to be. Letting go can be painful and uncomfortable.
